Constance Ackerman (Jamison)

Constance Ackerman Jamison went to her eternal home on December 28, 2017. She was a victim of Alzheimer's for many years. The family cared for her at home and she died peacefully without any pain. Born in New Jersey and raised in South America she attended Duke University School of Nursing and graduate from Columbia Presbyterian School of Nursing. She is survived by Carol Randy Jamison, husband of 58 years, daughters: Caroline Branch with husband Steve and daughter Grace Christine Jamison, Catherine Felton and children Ruth and Dillon, plus brother Peter Ackerman and wife Barbara and sister-in-law Sally Ackerman and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents are deceased and brother Monte recently passed also from the same disease. Connie was a working nurse for many years plus had many outside activities: Sweet Adeline's Choir, leader with women's Bible Study Fellowship and instructor at Old REX School of Nursing.

Her family is left with only loving and respectful memories. The family thanks Transitions Hospice for quality care in last few days of her life.

Arrangements are under the care of Brown-Wynne Funeral Home 200 SE Maynard Rd. Cary, and the burial will be held at Oakwood Cemetery. No services will be held at this time.
