Those who attended St. Bernard's School will remember teacher Bernard Powers. He passed away January 26. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Memorial Chapel, 222 Washington Rd., Mt. Lebanon, Saturday, 1/28, 6-8 pm, and Sunday, 1/29, 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mass will be celebrated in St. Bernard's Church, Monday morning, 1/30, at 10 o'clock.

We, the Class of 1960, will be celebrating our 70th birthday in 2012.  I thought it fitting for us to celebrate together.  The date settled on is the weekend of June 8-10, 2012 which would be 52 years from our June 10th graduation!  

The following are some of the activities available to you for the weekend:

*Tour of PNC Park (to include lunch)

*Pirate game Friday night (vs. KC Royals)

*Walking tour of "Uptown" Mt. Lebanon (Washington Road) from the Historical Society

*Ducky Tour Saturday afternoon

*St. Clair CC Saturday night with a more casual dinner (keeping the cost to around $50/person)

*Picnic on Sunday at Donna & Glenn's home

The Mt. Lebanon High School Great Alumni of 2011 Luncheon was held at the High School Friday, September 9th, 2011.   Our classmate Carole Beebe Tarantelli was one of the honorees.  Ann McMillan Shuman, Betsy Lynch Ahlborn, Donna Wangeman Williams, and Barb Bastian Cusick accepted the award in her absence.
