Children: Douglas C. Crissman - born 1966. Active duty Colonel in US Army. Assumed command of 3rd Brigade, 1st More…Cavalry Division in April 2010. Was the last operational brigade commander to leave Iraq in December 2012. Assigned duty as executive assistant to the Secretary of the Army in June 2013. Duty station is at the Pentagon.

Served 30 years as an Army Officer. Served in Germany, Vietnam, multiple places in the US, and Korea.

After military retirement, settled in Northern Virginia, near DC. Worked for an Architect/Engineer firm for 10 years, and then a Government Consulting firm for 5 years.

Have been in and out of employment since October 2008. When I am not employed, I really miss the camaraderie of the workplace and being part of a team with a purpose!
