Moved to Auburn CA after graduation. Attended Sierra College. Served as Weather Observer, USAF 1965-71 (TX, IL, CA, Turkey, Germany). Back to CA. Finished AA degree, Civil Engineering.
Land Surveying work for 8 yrs. Truck Accessories business 17 yrs. Retired from working in1999 for 5 yrs. Back to work 2004-2018 with Federal Government. Fun stuff: Travelling year after year throughout Western States & Canada on motorcycle or in vehicle. Traveling to Hawaii, Mexico (multiple times), Jamaica & Philippines. Competing in long distance, off road, cross country, desert racing 1973-84. Bowling competitively most of my adult life. Met my lovely wife, in the Philippines, and married her 2009. 2018, retired 5/31, living in Las Vegas.

School Story

During 1962 Mr. Rumph (Drafting Teacher) had 3-4 of us (students) sit out in front of MHHS, for a number of days, and draw a frontal view of the school. We did not know that the drawing selected was to be on the opening page of MHHS 1962 Annual. In fact, I did not know until the Annual was given out that my drawing had been selected. Did not sign or initial my drawing before I turned it over to Mr. Rumph.

It is saddening to hear of John Stark's belated passing. Each Birthday and MHHS student announcement give me time to ponder about passed times at school and living at the Air Base. I treasure 1958-62 as a very special time with many unforgettable memories. Time grows short, be happy, stay healthy and hug those close to you.

Judee was another MHAFB brat riding the bus to school each morning. I remember her constant smile, laughter and facial glow. As I had with other Class of '62 gals, I had a large crush on her. Judee, rest in Peace with God's Angels.
