Ronnie Brassfield

BRASSFIELD, Ronald “Ronnie”, 56, boilermaker, died March 29. Services pending, Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory.

Ronald “Ronnie” E. Brassfield, 56, of Muskogee, Oklahoma entered Heaven’s gates on Sunday, March 29, 2015. He was born January 25, 1959 in Muskogee to Everett E. Brassfield and Mary Ann Kelley Brassfield. Ronnie grew up in Muskogee where he attended public schools.

He worked as a welder for Boilermaker Local #592 Union.

Ronnie loved old hot rods and served as President of the Crusin Angels Car Club in Muskogee. He loved attending car shows where he made many friends and shared his love for Christ. He loved playing music and served as the drummer at Christian Chapel Church for many years. Ronnie will always be remembered for his love of the outdoors and helping anyone he could.

He loved his kids and grandkids dearly. He will be truly missed.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Mary Ann Brassfield; very special friend, Steve Caywood.

He is survived by his daughters, Tyler Baccus and husband Greg of Muskogee, OK, Courtney Brassfield of NY, NY; son, Shelby Brassfield and wife Megan of Muskogee; grandchildren, Hagan, Hayze, and Ashyr Baccus, Ryan and Isaiah Brassfield, and Kyleah Cundiff, all of Muskogee; sister, Susan Leiderson of NY; nieces, Tiffany and Baylei Yandell of Muskogee; many cousins, other family members and many great friends; special friends, Joe Schmidgall, Pam Villines, Jay, Tiffany, Taylor, and Hunter Goodman, Jackie and Wayne Tripp.

The family requests memorials be made to the Crusin Angels Car Club, 501 S 2nd St., Muskogee OK, 74401.

Funeral services honoring Ronnie’s life will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 3, 2015 at Christian Chapel Church with Pastor Conrad Barrett and Pam Villines officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery with Joe Schmidgall, Jay Goodman, Charles Pearson, Jerry Brassfield, Bryan Tidmore, Steve Gann, Greg Archer, and Jerry Stretch serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Brassfield, Floyd Brassfield, Steve Caywood, Patrick Cale, and Jim Risch.

Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home, 1830 North York Street, Muskogee, OK. Condolences may be made to the family online at www.cornerstoneofmuskogee.com.

Rest in Peace Ronnie. Our Dads worked together in construction all our lives so we've known each other forever. You and Dad worked your last jobs at the coal fired generator plant in Poteau ok. and now you will get to see him again in Heaven, He went there Jan. 5th 2015. 

Good Bye old friend you will be missed.
