Dwight Wayne Daniels, Jr.

Dwight Wayne Daniels, Jr., 50, of Forest, died Friday, November 6, 2009 at his home. He was the husband of Beverly Bumgarner Daniels.

Born October 1, 1959 in Muskogee, OK, he was the son of Dwight W. Daniels, Sr. of Muskogee, OK and the late Norma Caster Daniels. Dwight was a retired machinist with Armes Precision Machining and was a long standing member of Moose Lodge #1727. His community service included cleaning roads, mowing lawns, delivering food during the holidays, and donating his time to many other services the Moose Lodge provided for.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Muskogee, where he was baptized in his youth.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one sister, Michelle and his paternal grandparents, Haskel and Elda Daniels.

In addition to his wife and father, Dwight is survived by one son, Tyler Clay Daniels of Forest; two sisters, Pam Teel and husband, Don of Chocotah, OK and Trisha Clairday and husband, Max of Fort Gibson, OK; his step-mother, Virginia Daniels and many nieces and nephews. 

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Dr. James H. Alley officiating. Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park, Forest.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2009 at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

The family requests those wishing to make memorial contributions consider Gideon International, the U.V.A. Medical Center for cancer research, or one of the Moose Lodge charities, Mooseheart or Moosehaven.
