David Lee Abel, 47, of Muskogee passed away suddenly Tuesday, March 18, 2008. He was born October 3, 1960 in Muskogee to Logan & JoAnn Abel.

David was trained and developed his craft as a hard wood floor sander and started his own business. His love of flying inspired him to acquire his pilots license. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and golf. It seemed everything David put his mind to, he accomplished. He belonged to the local Elks Lodge and was past Exalted Ruler.

David is survived by his mother, JoAnn Abel; his son, Dustin Abel; Carole, of the home; his sister & brother-in-law, Karen & Don Reed, all of Muskogee; his brother & sister-in-law, Alan & Arlene Abel of Wagoner and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. David was preceded in death by his father, Logan Abel.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of David Lee Abel at 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 21, 2008 at the Bradley Belltower Chapel. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery with Cullen Gardenhire, Derreck Abel, Jason Cragg, Tim Tracey, Oscar Field and Larry Sunday serving as pallbearers.
