Tammye Sue May, 37, of Ft. Gibson, died Wednesday, July 9, 1997. Tammye was born January 10, 1960 in Muskogee, the daughter of Lee and Bertie May. She graduated from Muskogee High School with the class of 1978. She was a homemaker and loving mother.

Survivors include a son, Michael May, of the home; parents Bertie and J.D. Brooks, of Ft. Gibson; two sisters, Teresa Dixon of Coweta, and Diana Jean Copeland of Locust Grove; brother, Michael Shoemake, of Oktaha, two special nieces, Jennifer and Jana Dixon; and special friends Geraldine and Jasmine Simmons.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers that all memorials be made to South Bethel Cemetery or a charity of one's choice. The family has entrusted Bradley Funeral Service with the arrangements.

Funeral services for will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 12, 1997 at South Bethel Chapel, Braggs, OK, with Budo Perry of Ft. Gibson Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at South Bethel Cemetery with Casey Marble, Adin O'Dell, Raymond Brown, Brandon Childress, Chaz Tarwater and Don Dixon serving as pallbearers.
