Renita Milam

Renita Milam

On September 19, 2015, Renita Milam was called home. Her fight with ESRD (End State Renal Disease) took its final toll. Now she no longer has to fight so hard in a shell that she didn't need to maintain. She did all the maintenance and routine checks directed by doctors and so on.

So full of life and better known as "Mamma D," everybody's second mother. Renita was sure to keep you on your toes full of laughter. As a young girl through adult years she always stayed in the church and all about her family. We all knew she was a woman of high impact and always expressed her mind. Very kind, supportive, ambitious, and outgoing...there was nothing Renita wouldn't do for her family and others.

Renita "Mama D" Milam leaves behind a loving disabled son with cerebral palsy, a caring daughter who placed her every given moments to take care of her mother and is still trying to hold the family together, a toddler age grandson, and other family members. Renita wanted so badly to make her grandson's fifth birthday party which is around the corner. Her final days and moments were spent with him around by her side as she requested.

Come celebrate a life of a beautiful woman who gave so much and loved her family dearly on Saturday, September 26, 10:30, at Greater Union Baptist Church, Austin, Texas.
