 Scott Ozmun, 17-year old senior member of the tennis team, was killed in a truck accident on September 9, 1977. Scott, a passenger in the truck, was killed in the single-vehicle accident on his way back from the Tulsa Edison-Muskogee football game in Tulsa. The truck ran off the road and overturned.
A three-year member of the tennis team, Scott was also a member of the Muskogee Tennis Association. A top student, he was in both Oklahoma and National Honor Societies. He was a member of Westside Church of Christ.
Scott lived with his mother, Mrs. Mary Beth Ozmun Watson at her home, 2503 Margaret Lynn Lane. His father is Grover C. Ozmun of Norman.
Scott was born April 20, 1960 in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. He attended Alice Robertson Junior High School were he was on the honor roll and a member of the tennis team.
