Howie pass away when we were in 9th or 10th grade. I remember being in Ms Lund's english class when the counselor (Mrs. Reece) came over the intercom and said "Another flower has been plucked from our field." Having gone to even grade school with Howie, I can remember him well. He was a real funny guy. He was best friends with Tim Walters.
Howie died during 10th grade year (1976). . . he was in my geometry class and I remember that day - his vacant chair. Doug Benight, and I would go over to David Branscum's house often and Howie would do great stunts on the trampoline.
