Kandice Chatman

I had a rocky start trying to get things started for myself education and career wise. Life, money, and a weak mindset seem to derail me back then. I don't mean to sound down, but sharing the hiccups in my life will hopefully show my determination to get things to where I want them. Since that moment, I have obtained my associate's degree in Early Childhood in 2016. I am in school at Alcorn for my Bachelor's in Social Work.
I joyfully left the fast food industry last year and is almost through with my first year of teaching at Regina Coeli Child Development Center. The past few years have been good to me and will be even greater as I have so much more goals I want to achieve.

I had fun at Natchez High. I was great at being the shy, nerdy, and smart kid. I think one of my greatest memories was prom. I was there having the time of my life with my blue dress that was falling off of me and makeup that made me look like a clown. lol. Danny Thompson and Kenneth Ware was doing a dance and Kenny held his hand out to the crowd for someone to grab it. Since no one did, I grabbed his hand and pulled me in the dance. Next thing I know is that Mr. Wallace turned the music off during their performance and people were laughing. I asked what happened and people told me that I accidentally flashed my boob at them whole I was dancing. Now I was not drunk but I don't remember that happening. A few people even said that it was recorded and uploaded to bebo or some website. To this day, I still haven't seen the video.
