Great site! Thanks for the effort you put into it. As our classmates learn of it and how to use it, we should have more spontaneous get-togethers with classmates in areas near our homes or on travel routes around the country. If there is a continuing cost associated with the service, please advise so I can contribute. Jim Winn

Ursula and I returned from St John ( U. S. Virgin Islands ) where we spent a week visiting with Kent Kirk. Kent spends a little over a month every year at one of the Islands. It is his way of getting out of the cold weather in Wis. Had a nice visit and an enjoyable time.

Kent has written a book on the trees of S. Fla. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Should be out in the very near future.

All is well in my world and hope the sames for all you classmates. Take care and have a good day!

Roger

Father reach down to Ben with your loving arms and heal him. Watch over him in this time of his needs when he has no other to help him. Send your mercy and your peace unto him and his family. Please be with all the classmates at this time Lord, caring for them in your own special way. You have cared for us through these past years and even when trouble comes you are still there watching over us. Shelter everyone of us with your presence in the times of trouble and deliver us out of our enemies hand. Pour out your blessings Lord Jesus on all of us we ask in your name Jesus.

Amen

May the Joy and Peace of the CHRISTmas Season be with all our classmates and their families. Let the knowledge of Jesus sweep your hearts with a warm glowing spirit this radiant time of year. I pray that all would see the LOVE that Jesus has given to all the world in His birth as a man. Celebrate Him with all your hearts and never forget how much He loves us.

Hurricane Irene paid us a visit here in upstate NY, most unusual for our part of the country.   Powerful winds, torrential rains brought down houses, trees, cars-whatever was in its path.  My only damage was a weeping willow tree and power outage for a day, so I was blessed!  22 dead.   Strange,  the day before we had some earthquake movement all the way up from New York city.  we sit on a fault line...   ya know we always have the big snow/ice problems here!  wishing all my friends love and good health!   jo

Many of you probably remember, Mary Margaret and Lillian Gant.  Margaret was in our class. You maybe interested in reading an article about them residing in the Natchitoches Fire Station.  Search Google-under the title - Prince Gant,Natchitoches Fire Station and you will be able to locate the article. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did as it brought back many memories.  The idea that this was a unique situation never occurred to me prior to reading the article. I spoke with Lillian and Margaret and we all agreed that the pole was not in a closet but in the middle of the floor.  Hope you will take the time to go back down memory lane.
