A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Geneva was a wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing meals and treats for her family and friends. Survivors include her son, Don A. Durr, Jr. (Michelle); daughter, Angela Pardue (Ron); twin sister, Jeanette Brooks; five grandchildren, Emily Keltz (Tyler), Laura Durr, Ryan Pardue (fiancée, Haylee), Traci Pardue, Caroline Durr; and one great-grandchild, Georgia Mae Keltz; along with those in her extended family.

Visitation for friends and family to share their memories will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside with a graveside service at 3:30 p.m. in Beulah Cemetery near Marthaville, LA.

Honoring Geneva as pallbearers will be Ryan Pardue, Tyler Keltz, Tanner Mays, and Michael Shipley.

The family would like to thank all of those who cared for her during her last days, especially the doctors and nurses at Willis-Knighton Pierremont.
