Two graduates of Nazareth High School died this weekend after separate traffic accidents on rain-slick roads.

Kenneth E. Kitchen Jr., 21, of 627 W. Berwick St., Easton, died yesterday in a one-car crash on Route 191 in Stockertown, state police at Belfast said.

Gregory Mlodossich, 28, of 615 Taft Street, Wind Gap, was pronounced dead at 9:16 p.m. Saturday at Pocono Medical Center following a motorcycle accident on Interstate 80 in Stroud Township.

Kitchen was driving south on Route 191 at 2:45 a.m. when his car slid broadside into a utility pole at a curve, cracking the car in two, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:10 a.m. by Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek, who listed the death as accidental from massive injuries.

A passenger, Michael P. Stefancin, 22, of Williams Street, Easton, was taken to Easton Hospital with head, neck and chest injuries. He was in critical condition last night, a nursing supervisor said.

In the Mlodossich accident, an autopsy yesterday by Dr. Isidore Mihalakis showed Mlodossich died of multiple head and internal injuries, Monroe County Coroner Robert Bob Allen said.

Mlodossich was driving west on I-80, near exit 48 in Stroud Township, when he passed a car and lost control of his motorcycle, police said.

Reports indicate the bike went right and the driver landed in the left lane. Mlodossich started to get up but visibility was poor and he was struck by a car driven by Desiree Lewis, 23, of 628 N. New St., Allentown.

The accident happened about 8:45 p.m. No charges were filed, police said.

Kitchen was a 1989 graduate of Nazareth High School.

He was formerly employed by Travomatic Corp., Easton.

Born in Williamsport, Lycoming County, he was a son of Mary Ann (Wallech) Kitchen of Bath and the late Kenneth E. Kitchen.

Survivoring with his mother is a son, Zakk of Easton.
