Life Legacy

Joanne D. Cauley, 69 years old, of Saddlebrooke, AZ and formerly of Mansfield, MA and Needham, MA passed away unexpectedly at her home on May 2, 2014.

Joanne is survived by her loving husband Jack of 43 years; dearest son Michael and daughter-in-law Kristin; dearest son Brian and daughter-in-law Anna; grandson Sam; granddaughter Caroline; and many, many close friends from Massachusetts and Arizona. Joanne is preceded in her death by her mother Catherine L. Devereaux and her sister Maureen Gorman.

Throughout her life, Joanne always wanted to be around and exhibited an immense love and affection for family, friends, and animals. She took great enjoyment in and had tremendous pride in her work, practicing as a medical assistant at an internal medicine practice at Newton-Wellesley Hospital and Mansfield Health Center, both in Massachusetts. She was always happiest in the company of family and friends, staying active with her doting husband, being engaged in the activities of her beloved sons, and becoming a devoted horseback rider in her retirement years. She cherished being a loving wife and loving mom, raising a family, being a trusted confidant and devoted friend to many, being Grammy to Sam and Caroline, working in healthcare, and shopping with her daughter-in-law Kristin. She was an incredibly loving person and will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 7th at 11AM at Vistoso Funeral Home in Oro Valley, Arizona. Joanne will be laid to rest in Massachusetts.

Joanne was one of the friendliest girls I ever new.  I was new to Needham in 7th grade and Joanne was one of the first  who reached out to me.  She had a bouncey personality, a big smile and friendly nature.  I can almost hear her laugh.

I have fond memories of Joanne.
