Bill was a neighbor over on Bradford Street. Many 62' classmates will have to think hard trying to remember Bill. He was very shy and quiet but he was a pioneer in the sport of long distance bicycling. Long before Lance Armstrong, Bill would peddle his 3 speed Raliegh to places like Providence, Springfield, and Nashua. Out and back in one day and always solo. He was in my gym class and he out ran everyone but would not join the track team. Such a pity. Bill was also a pioneer in high tech Christmas decorations. Billy was an electricity hobbist. His house could have been the model for the Griswold home in the movie "Christmas Vacation". His parents must have needed a bank loan to pay the December electric bill. Bill was unique and I am sad he is not with us. Jim

I too remember billy's christmas decorations... His mother told me he disconnected the electric stove to get additional juice for the lights..
As I remember he would also ride out to NY state on his bike.
