Skip was a good friend to me at least in junior and senior years.   We and his first wife, Valarie Burkhardt '63 or '64, were good friends even when we were bringing up kids in Needham.

Skip was my best man at my wedding.   We have kept in touch regularily thru the years whether he was living in SC, NH, Saudi Arabia, Manila or HI..   We have visited with he and his 2nd wife Zenny, a former airline stewardess, in HI a couple of times and we have seen him a few times in Thailand more recently.

His health had not been great for about 10 years, but he worked up until last November for the VA in Honolulu.

Many of us suspected that he was a "secret" CIA agent, especially during his years in saudi.

He leaves his wife of 25 years, Zenny, and his adopted chinese daughter, Catherine, now in the 7th grade...  Catherine is tops in her class and plays volleyball and basketball with distinction.

Karen and I will miss him!
