Angela Amburgey Hampton

After high school I attended Pikeville College and later transferred to EKU and graduated from there in 1997. I have been working as a social worker for the last 12 years. I married Tim Hampton in September 2000 and had a set of twins in November 2001. Our baby boy Wyatt was born June 28th 2009. I have been living in Millstone (same hollow I grew up in) for four years now.

I have so many high school memories it would be to hard to pick a favorite. Getting together and playing basketball at Keith Kincer and Mel Sturgill's house, "cruising" Jenkins with Heather Watko and Melody Sturgill, senior trip, Heather Watko and I harrassing Ronny Goins daily, camping out, making Jim Bob take us fourwheeling, basketball in advanced P.E, Mr Honeycutt's Lit IV class, being a member of the Lady Pirates Basketball team, state tourney 89 and 90, beating Whitesburg in the 14th regional tourney championship in 90, playing rook with homemade cards (so not to get caught), trying to fix my friends up (Roddy and Chasity later married), laughing at Allison Fleming with all her drama, Chrsitmas party at my house our senior year, sleep overs (Heather, Allison, Becky, Mel and I with our soap operas and music videos), basketball camps in the summer, Heather and I taking turns driving the famous malibu while Steve Hall and Ronny Goins went fishing, listening to Josh Fleming talk about his truck (the banana) and Jody Holbrook talking about his car (the Pickle) and of course my senior prom was the best.

There are so many memories I could go on and on. Heather and I still laugh about those times. I am grateful for the friends and fun we had. Sometimes it seems like it was just yesterday.
