After graduation from high school, I attened Alice Lloyd College, then Berea College. I received my Teaching Certificate in 1970, got married, and got a job in Kenton County. 27 years later, I retired, got another job (this time working for an airline), lost my husband, got 2 beautiful grandsons, and traveled a lot. I am now retired from my second career, and spending most of my time with my grandsons.
I have many memories of FNHS, but my most treasured memory is of Mrs. Adams, an English teacher. Many considered her the toughest teacher at FNHS, but I learned more from her than any other teacher I had. Absolutely more that I learned from Mrs. Lillian Russell Fugate Webb's 25 poems and 5 selections from Macbeth.
