Annette Melton proudly served our Nation in the United States Air Force for four years. Upon finishing, she earned her bachelor's degree from UC Davis. She was working on a Doctorate in genetics, when she died in a car accident. Not to mention, during her internship, she was finding many leads to specific genes linked to cancer.
