Jackie, I am so sorry to hear about Dennis. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I just remember him in high school as being such a nice guy.  And you, my dear were always a good buddy at Roosevelt.  Take care of yourself and may your family bring you comfort.

To Mr. Dennis "Bana" Rose, a poem borrowed from the movie, "Cooley High":

"We were friends a long time ago.  Laughing, rapping, chasing girls.  Obeying no laws, except the one of caring.

Basketball days, and high nights.  No tomorrows.  Unable to remember yesterday.  We lived for today!"

Rest in eternal peace.  I'll see you at the end of the line.

Such a shocker. I’ve known him all my life. We even kinda looked alike. So sad to get this news. Rest in peace, Dennis.

I've been putting off writing this post. My heart was broken when I read the news regarding the passing of my good friend Dennis.  My heart continues to break for his wonderful wife Jacquie. I have so many memories of times spent with Dennis. His sense of humor was always on point. If you were down, he brought you up. Just a smile made you feel great. One memory only I shared with him is when we met up in a history class at UMass. The class was all about LIzzie Borden. We laughed through the whole class and were often told to stop talking. The class was interesting but we were more interested in having fun. We would walk out of class singing the song about Lizzie Borden taking an axe.  Dennis you are a cherished friend and will remain a part of me for my lifetime. Jacquie, I love you and want you to always remember the fun we have had throughout our friendship. Love You!

Jacquie,  I'm so sorry about Bana's transition. Way too soon. I can't think of Bana without thinking of you. He was a special man and a special friend. I wish I could have been there to give you a hug. Sending you healing prayers to you, the children and family❣️ May Bana rest in paradise and May you know he will always be with you💕
