My sympathies to the Santos family. Martin is an old friend; going back to grammar school. Does anyone have any details regarding his passing?

Martin Wayne Santos, Sr.
1952 - 2019
Martin Wayne Santos, Sr., 66, of Colorado Springs, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019. He was born March 4, 1952 in New Bedford, Massachusetts to John and Elsie (Silva) Santos. Martin graduated from St. Mary's High School and served in the U.S. Army. He worked in Culinary Arts at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort for 11 years. Martin was a long time resident of Colorado Springs and had a passion for his family, friends, people, traveling, and the Denver Broncos. He is survived by his beloved wife, Juanita Boyd Santos; two sisters, Deborah Santos Hudson of Martha's Vineyard, MA and Gina Santos of Taunton, MA; in addition seven sibling residing in Connecticut; his children, Michael King of New Bedford, MA; Martin Santos, Jr. (Sheila) of Colorado Springs, and Desiree Santos of Cheyenne, WY. He is also survived by his wife's children, William Boyd II (LeAnn) of Camp Pendleton, CA, Rayna McLendon and Taran Boyd of Washington, DC; 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Martin is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. A Memorial Service will be held 11:30 AM, Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Cheyenne Mountain Resort, 3225 Broadmoor Valley Rd., Colorado Springs, CO 80906. Memorial contributions may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice in honor of Martin Santos, Sr.
