I lived across the street from Monica when we were younger. Another neighbor Leticia Morales Smith, class of 69 kept closer contact because their parents still lived next door to each other. Leticia contacted me and told me that on Dec 23, 2008 Monica passed away. She was married to fellow classmate Roy Hale. Leticia told me that Monica was doing something around the Christmas tree (not sure of that fact) and she somehow pulled/knocked her cable box and it came down crashing on the back of her head. She was okay at first but then quickly declined. Roy and Monica had 3 children.
