Christine (Dahlhausen) Stevenson, 40, of Willoughby, passed away Jan. 26, 2011, at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born June 23, 1970, in Cleveland, she had lived in Newbury before moving to Willoughby in 2001.
Mrs. Stevenson was a H.R. leave specialist for Progressive Insurance in Mayfield Heights for 14 years.
Christine Dahlhausen married Robert "Bob" Stevenson Jan. 18, 2008, in Willoughby. Mrs. Stevenson is an avid race car fan and owner of #65, Biscuits 'n Gravy" racing team at the Lake County Speedway. She enjoyed traveling on cruises. She collected sea turtles and monkeys. Christine was a kind and caring person that was always the first one there to help anyone in need.
Survivors are her husband, Robert "Bob" Stevenson of Willoughby; parents, James and Joann (Strzyzewski) Dahlhausen of Newbury; siblings, Daniel (Betty) Dahlhausen, MD of Pickens, S.C., Deborah (Kevin) Timmons of Mason, James (Pam) Dahlhausen of Thompson Township, Joseph (Melissa) Dahlhausen of Chardon Township, Nancy (Ricky) Linville of Hambden Township, Diane (Hugh) Finnerty of Aquilla Village, Ronald (Lizane) Dahlhausen of Jacksonville, Fla., Kurt (Theresa) Dahlhausen of Newbury, Jeffery (Kasey) Dahlhausen of Belleville, Mark (Jeannie) Dahlhausen of Aliso Viejo, Calif., Dave (Terra) Dahlhausen of North Ridgeville, Jill Dahlhausen of Newbury; and stepchildren, Eric (Danielle) Stevenson of Madison, Benjamin Stevenson of Madison, Alexander Stevenson of Madison, and Bailey Kotnik of Willoughby.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Dahlhausen.
Memorial services will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/Chardon Square), Chardon. Her brothers, Daniel and James Dahlhausen will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home. Private family burial will be held at a later date.
