Phyllis Blank Feltis died Feb. 11, 2009 after a courageous battle with ALS, also know as Lou Gerhig's disease. She was married for 48 years to Clayton Lee Feltis until his death in April 2008.
Phyllis was a school bus driver for the town of Bristol for 23 years and she and her husband were also independent bus contractors for 15 years. She was a cook for both Shaw's Wharf in New Harbor and Reunion Station in Damariscotta. She had a large family of six sons, 14 grandchildren, one great-grandaughter, as well as countless friends.
