Work: Taught in the elementary grades in Lewiston; Plymouth, NH; and at the Castner School in Damariscotta. While at Castner, coached boys' baseball and basketball teams.

Employed by the State of Maine for the last 15 years ofhis life. At the time ofhis death, Bob was an Employment Training Specialist within the Employment Security Commission's Job Bank.

He coached Babe Ruth baseball for several years in Damariscotta and Augusta. Bob will long be remembered for his vast knowledge of historical facts and sports trivia. He was always a loyal Lincoln Academy fan and closely followed all the sports teams.

He succumbed to cancer of the esophagus August 24, 1988.
