I am so sorry to learn that my dear friend Anita passed away. She was such a special girl - the one who ran home after girls sports activities to start dinner for her family--you all know there were 17 kids (she was the oldest) - that was one of her chores - looking after one of the toddlers was another. The Bandels were an amazing family - I still remember all the little kids learning how to play bridge after dinner. Going to church on Balboa Island - the Bandels took up two pews all by themselves.
