Robin Redman (McCormick)

Robin Lynn McCormick, 44, died March 16, 2005, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
She was born Jan. 14, 1961, at Hutchinson, the daughter of Jack D. Sr. and J. Regina Sevart Redman. She was a 1979 graduate of Nickerson High School, attended Hutchinson Juco, graduated from Kansas State with her BA and then received her masters from Friends University. A resident of Hutchinson, she was a teacher for USD 309 since 1983—20 years.

Her co-workers, Linda Sies—Henderson (also a NHS graduate) and D’ana Heinlein organized the first Robin Run in her honor in 2008.

* I still remember that senior photo of her in her yellow overalls—the photographer used it at numerous events for advertising. She was so full of life and always had so many people around her in high school and touched many lives. She will truly be missed.—Connie Greathouse Johnson

"Only the good die young"

Robin was my best friend....we were friends since we were 5. I miss her everyday, and know i will miss her when she isn't at the 30th reunion. It is still hard for me to get mind around the fact that she is gone. I have some wonderful memories of double dating at the South Hutch Drive-in. Spending summers at the lake with he family. Traveling to Manhattan to visit her when she left for college...... Robin was so full of life and love. I miss you friend.
