Pathetically, nearly all my memories of Don are surrounding by an alcoholic haze. (Yes, I DID just put that into words for anyone, even my mother, to see!) Seems like he was always chauffering my drunk-ass home from some place or offering me a safe place to blubber when I was too intoxicated to make sense. And he was ALWAYS a gentleman about it.

After I left Kansas, Don was one of the people I always hoped I'd run into at the grocery store.

A good man gone too soon.

Donnie and I spent many hours together playing guitars. We wer both in the jazz band, pep band, and bands away from school. He taught me some bass and I taught him some six string. He was always a lot of fun to be around -- such a humble person. He was one of my best friends in High School. I was looking forward to seeing him this summer. I am sad to know that he won't be there.

Donald was one of my best friends from the days at NGS on through high school. As the years passed we did not keep in touch very well.......a person always thinks they have time to catch up, but it doesn't always work out as we planned. We spent many good times & a few bad times together......but he was ALWAYS a good friend and I miss him....
