After h/s I joined the USMC, I went to boot camp on Paris Island. Later I was stationed in Kaneohe Bay, HI. After my release from the corps I couldn't imagine living anywhere else, so I stayd on Oahu. I began diving for tropical fish, working as a diver for local distributors in the winter and spending my summers in Maine guiding whitewater rafting. In 2004 I decided to open my own dive shop. I met my future wife, or re-met I should say, in 2005 when a classmate from Nikiski paid me a visit to the islands. Joy Anthony arrived in March and never left. We worked together running the dive shop, and I continued diving for a local distributor. If you have a saltwater tank with Hawaiian fish, chances are I might have caught them. I married Joy in February of 2006 and we moved back to Nikiski Alaska to start our family. I began working for XTO Energy. Our son Aiden was born in July of 2006, my little clone. He is my fishin, sleddin, hikin, and garage buddy. My wife is expecting our second child in October of this year, we are going to let this one be a suprise. We just bought 10 acres in Nikiski with hopes to build this summer. I would say I've had an exciting life thus far...but hey it is only our 10 year reunion...there is still a lot of life left to live!!! |
