William F. "Bill" Bruce, 72, passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, with family at his side.

Mr. Bruce was born June 4, 1944, in Noblesville.

He graduated from Indiana University and was a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. Traveling with family, playing golf, following sports events, especially Indiana football and basketball, as well as the Tampa Bay Rays, were favorites for him. He loved putting together "a deal". He was an entrepreneur with a variety of business dealings throughout the country. Many years were spent living in Florida in both the Sarasota and New Smyrna Beach areas.

Survivors include his mother, Peggy J. Macy; two sons, William Mark Bruce (Kristin), and Carter Austin(LoAn); his life partner, Sandy Fredrick; sister, Ann Macy Nigro (John); 4 grandchildren, Chelsea Wells, Austin Bruce, Kieran Austin and Alexis Austin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Keith F. Macy.

A celebration of Mr. Bruce's life will be held at a later date.
