Ron was my brother and was a year older than me.  Actually should have graduated in 1966, but he quit school, joined the Navy and went to Vietnam instead.  Later getting his GED - NHS put him in our class of '67.  Ron worked as plumber throughout his life, working on the Alaskan pipe line - working in Saudi Arabia - but spent most of his life living in the Norman area.   He helped build the Energy Center at OU, on the corner of Jenkins and Boyd.  He also worked in various locations around the State.  He was the father of three sons, Ron Jr., Randy and Ryan.  He passed away in 2011, age 62 after illness (diabetes & losing a leg) while residing in a nursing home.  He is missed by his children, grandchildren, as well as his siblings - Donna, Darlene & myself.   We also lost another brother, Ramon in 1996.  Ron was an avid fisherman, hunter and OU sports fan.
