LaDean Campbell

October 6, 1949 - August 26, 2020

LaDean, 70, of Norman, Oklahoma passed away on August 26, 2020 peacefully at home. LaDean was a lifelong resident of Norman and graduated from Norman High School, Class of 1967. She went on to attend the University of Oklahoma where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority and graduated with a B.S. in Education. In retirement, LaDean enjoyed alumni activities with her sorority and had many community friends that she cherished time with, especially at Altrusa. She participated in supporting her grandchildren's many activities and enjoyed watching them in dance, cheerleading, baseball and basketball. Her favorite pastime was doing crossword puzzles, cross stitch and researching family geneal ogy. She never missed her beloved OU football and basketball games on TV.

A private memorial service will be held in honor of La Dean due to COVID-19 concerns, with her final resting place to be with her cherished father and mother. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.

So sorry to hear of LaDean's passing.  We had lunch a couple of times in the past few years.  She was a joy to be around.
