Cynthia Marie Howard, San Antonio, Texas went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 23, 2019. She was the daughter of Leo Paul and Evelyn Viola Bruehl. Cindi was born in Norman, Oklahoma on May 30, 1956. Survived by husband, Phil; brother Paul Bruehl (Debbie); brother Dennis Bruehl; sister Patricia Hames; daughter Krista Jauregui (Mark); grandchildren Michelle, Avery and Bradley Jauregui. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Brian Howard.

Cindi attended Norman High School in Norman, Oklahoma. After high school, she worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She had a very successful career holding positions in Norman, Tulsa, Oklahoma City and St. Louis, Missouri. She left her job in 1980 to begin a second career as a homemaker and mother.

She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. She was previously a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church and worked as office manager for a few years.

Cindi was a sports fan, especially, college football and her beloved Oklahoma Sooner's. She and Phil were such big fans they spent their honeymoon night at the Orange Bowl watching the Sooner's beat Florida State.

Viewing will be at Concordia Lutheran Church at 10:00 A.M. with service to follow at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 2, 2019. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Concordia Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
