Keyo Curry, 63 passed away on November 11 surrounded by those she cherished most.

Her smile and spirit was contagious to all who knew her. She was a best friend to many, a loving wife to Tom, a devoted, loving and protective mother to Jason and Melanie and a loving sister to Dennis. She was a proud grandmother to Lauren, Jacob, Abby, Matthew, Ian, Megan, Patrick and Emma . She was a pillar of strength, grace and love to all.

Keyo was born in California and grew up in Norman, Oklahoma. She moved to Texas in her early twenties. Keyo enjoyed gardening, painting and sewing and anything that allowed her to indulge in her creative streak. She enjoyed celebrating the holidays and you could find her in costume each year for Halloween handing out candy! Her home always offered a joyful and warm welcome. Above all, she cherished her family and friends the most. Her sense of humor and warmth was undeniable and in her presence you would soon be sharing a laugh and a hug.

After a long professional career, Keyo retired in 2016 and never looked back. She enjoyed diving into retirement with Tom and mastering fun new hobbies.

She was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2016 and fought bravely, fiercely and gracefully. In her memory, we ask that you live for today, take the trips you want to take and take nothing for granted.
