Tommy Lynn Greenwood

Tommy Lynn Greenwood, 49, of Pryor died Sunday, Feb. 12. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel in Moore with cremation to follow.

Mr. Greenwood was born July 18, 1956, in Purcell to Thurman and Jannivie Greenwood. He married Barbara Gorman of Norman May 1, 1975. They had three children. During his life, he lived in Norman, Reno, Nev., Fall River Mills, Calif., and Pryor.

An ASE certified master auto technician, Mr. Greenwood owned and operated his own business in Norman until 1989. He last worked at Double S Automotive in Fall River Mills, Calif. He was a musician and shared a love of music. He played the guitar, a tradition passed on by his father. He enjoyed the quiet and solitude of the country. He loved to go fishing, hunting for quail and duck, and gardening. He had a fascination and interest in the History Channel, guns and science fiction.

Mr. Greenwood is survived by son Christian Greenwood and wife Heidi, daughter Amber Barnett and husband Wayne, and daughter Nicole "Tete" Greenwood; four grandchildren, Daniel, Alex, and Coralynn Greenwood and Brendan Barnett; mother Jannivie Greenwood; brother Bobby Greenwood and wife Robbin; sister Judy Lowther and husband Dixon; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Letha Kidd and father Thurman Greenwood.
