Don Edward Plummer, 48, of Norman died Monday, Aug. 15, in Albany, N.Y., of heart complications. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Anadarko Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Davidson officiating.

Mr. Plummer was born Sept. 23, 1956, in Snyder, Texas, to Anita and Harold Plummer of Norman. He graduated from Norman High School and East Central University in Ada. He used his talents to become a manager at the Elk City Wal-Mart and then worked for Wilson Supply. With gained experience, he returned to Norman where he became systems manager for P--S Laboratory. In a continuing search for accomplishments, Mr. Plummer began working for McDonnell-Douglas and later for Putnam City Schools, where he touched many individuals.

Mr. Plummer was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Ruby and Otis Compton; paternal grandparents Harold and Cleo Plummer; and uncle Kenneth G. Plummer.

Mr. Plummer is survived by his parents Anita and Harold of Norman; sons Roy and his wife Sara of Portsmouth, N.H., Ryan and David who are attending the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and Nate who lives with their mother Kathy Plummer in Moore; sister Cheryl Plummer of Aubrey, Texas; sister Jerri Davidson and husband Jeff and their children Jeremy and Jennifer of Arlington, Texas; brother Tim Plummer and wife Sally of Norman; uncle John Compton and wife Joanna of Norman; and many cousins and friends.
