Deborah Carol Shepherd Love

Deborah Carol Love, 48, of Norman died Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Integris Baptist Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Guardian-Norman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery. Guardian-Norman Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Love was born Oct. 6, 1956, to Jess Dan and Norma Lea (Cargill) Shepherd. She lived all of her life in Norman. She married Marty Embry and they had one son, Travis Embry. After Mr. Embry died she married David Love Dec. 30, 1999.

Mrs. Love was preceded in death by her brother Jeffrey Shepherd and niece Leanne Shepherd.

Mrs. Love is survived by her husband David; both parents; son Travis Embry; brother Jonathan and wife Janelle of Clinton; sisters Linda Mejia and husband Angel of Noble and Teresa Wiggins and husband Donald of Edmond; sister-in-law Pat Shepherd of Dibble; and many nieces and nephews.
