George Hix Baccus passed away on Friday September 22, 2023 at his home in Norman with his loving family. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Frances and John Baccus and Mother-in-law Dovie Madden. He is survived by his wife Retha and two sons Grahm and Aubrey Baccus. He had one grandchild Emelia Baccus that meant the world to him. His Sister Lynne and husband Bob and son Jeffrey. He had six brother-in-law's and six sister-in-law's and a host of nieces and nephews. A celebration of life with music will be held at Andrews park rock shelter north of the amphitheater at 201 W Daws Street, Norman Ok 73069 on Thursday September 28th from 2-4.
