After graduating NHHS in 1984 I went to San Diego State. I was still convinced I was going to replace Steve Garvey at first base for the Dodgers, but was quickly disabused of this notion after getting cut in tryouts my first week in school. Alas, I became a typical college student and focused on a career in the TV news biz. I graduated in 1989 and found work on the air as a sportscaster at stations in Nebraska, Wyoming, Texas and California. I returned home in 1997 to host and produce a weekly show about LA high school sports and have remained in LA ever since. I started my video production company in 2000. I married Nicole in 2002 and we had Charlie in 2003 and Jessica in 2005. I still live in the NoHo area and my kids go to Carpenter, the same elementary I attended back in the Ice Age.
