Stephen Adams Blonder Adams

I am currently a Spiritual Care Coordinator for Hospice of the Western Reserve, Cleveland, OH. I have been ordained twenty six years now, having been ordained in the Presbyterian Church (USA) 25 June 1989 in the First Presbyterian Church, Irwin, PA.

A majority of the past twenty six years I worked full-time in end of life Spiritual Counseling in hospice and at the Ireland Cancer Center, University Hospitals. I had a wonderful opportunity to be a part of a Robert Wood Johnson grant study called the Safe Conduct Project. Though one can't tell from the name, it took an interdisciplinary hospice team and grafted us into the out patient care of a major cancer center. We worked with people that at time of diagnosis had incurable lung cancer. We worked closely with them through treatment phases and with transitioning them to hospice at the appropriate time.

I also served four congregations in Interim Ministry.

I have continued to study voice since college and currently sing as a paid vocalist in the Park Synagogue Choir. I've also continued to do painting and stained glass work.

Bruce and I celebrate our 21st Anniversary in 2014. We were finally legally married in Palm Springs, CA 10 November 2013. Bruce is a native "Clevelander" having grown up in Shaker Heights. I've enjoyed the Pittsburgh/Cleveland rivalry through the years.
