Jan Mayfield-Hubbard Freeman

Married Phillip Nov. 28,1981. Left the Metroplex. Made a short detour through Stephenville on our way to setteling in Granbury and raising our family here. We are fixing to celebrate our 28th anniversary. We have just returned from a week in South Padre which has become our favorite place to spend our anniv. I have worked very little outside of the home, choosing to be a full time mom. However, they are grown now and I still have no desire to go to work -- considering going back to school. I've kept in touch with several classmates. Really looking forward to the Reunion to catch up with many others.

Deralynn Lindsey and I were talking just a couple of hours ago (she's a fellow Granbury resident) about my rediculous collection of platform shoes back in the day. At just a hair over 5 feet short, I wanted so bad to be tall. I think I spent about 50% of my time on the ground having just fallen off of my own shoes. I'm so glad fads go away! Another memory: Marcia, remember the same pole set in a huge concrete base at Taco Bell? It was always there. How many times did we back into it? It never moved but we could never seem to remember that it was back there. We just kept hitting it. It was'nt too bad on my 66 Mustang, but your Mustang was brand new. High school was alot of fun, but there is alot to be said about growing older. I sure would'nt want to do those teen years again. I think I must of been crazy back then! haha
