Thomas E. Charles, age 46, of North Ridgeville, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2006, at St. John West Shore Hospital, Westlake, following a sudden illness.
Born in Elyria, he grew up in North Ridgeville then lived in Avon Lake for 18 years, moving back to North Ridgeville in 2000.
Mr. Charles worked as an assembler for Ford Motor Company Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake for the past 17 years.
He was a member of Avon Baptist Church and United Auto Workers Local 2000. He enjoyed traveling, playing games of chance and was an avid sports fan.
Survivors include his mother, Virginia P. Charles of North Ridgeville; daughters, Patricia Charles of Washington D.C., Jamie Charles of Westlake, Alecia Charles of Bowling Green; son, Thomas L. of Westlake; brother, Theodore Charles of Lorain.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Charles and brother William Charles.
Friends may call Friday from 3-5 and 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00PM in the funeral home.
