Bob and I had become friends in elementary school, when I first moved to North Smithfield and began attending Kendall Dean in the 3rd grade. I remember how happy and proud he was to be on the N.S. football team, as number 55 and how glad I was for him. I was both shocked and very saddened to learn that he had passed away over that fateful weekend, when I returned to school on the following Monday morning. It was sure was nice to see how our class turned out to attend his funeral and show his family our support.
I hope that he is in a better place, because God knows that he deserves to be. Rest in eternal peace Bob.
