Delbrook/NVHS Ides of March Meeting, March 15, 2021.

The Ides of March was the excuse to meet.  The stories in March were recollections of high school days, getting Covid vaccinations and activities with grandchildren.  All classmates living in the US have already received their vaccinations while those in Canada get theirs in the next few weeks.

This is a trivia quiz that came to mind after our high school class zoom meeting.  The questions relate to the people in the pictures.

 1. Who has a birthday on the Ides of March? And who had a birthday on March 14th?

 2. Who has a B&B that can provide 2-week quarantine accommodation among other options?

 3. Who has a grandson that is a possible contender for Canada in the Open Water competition in the next Olympics?

 4. Who is retired on a 287-acre farm bought years ago and whose son is now raising organic beef?

 5. Who drove 3 and a half hours away to get a first Covid shot?

 6. Who loves to see all of our faces and makes encouraging and congratulatory comments to many of us?

 7. Who has two granddaughters at Crofton House in Vancouver?

 8. Who is looking forward to playing tennis again with another classmate?

 9. Who sews a large number of scrub caps for nurses needing PPE?

 10. Name 3 quilters in the gathering?

 11. Who thanked the public health nurse face to face who looked after her mother in the mother’s declining years (thereby enabling her to be able to stay in her own home for much longer)?

 12. Who might be interested in managing harbor tours and fishing trips for paying customers after spending $50,000 on boat repairs?

 13. Who, of late, has taken up some role reversal and is now managing cooking and cleaning? (hint – may be more than one).

 14. Who has moved to a new space in the house where only 3 steps are required rather than 13?

 15. Who has recently had dessert with a friend where the friend used the apples given to her by the friend some months previously?

 16. Who attended a granddaughter’s UBC class on Canadian Politics where that the professor remarked he was happy to have someone in the 100 seated room who knew who Diefenbaker was?
