HAWRYCHUK, Frank, September 4 1940 - December 18, 2018

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Frank, who slipped away peacefully with his wife by his side on December 18, 2018. Frank will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Caron, and his children, Jeff and Ashleigh (Jay) Young. Frank will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Alivia and Owen, and by his sister, Vicki (Tom Parker). Frank was predeceased by his sister, Anne Proskurniak, and brothers, James and Allen Hawrychuk.

Frank was born in Roblin, Manitoba, and spent his youth playing baseball and hockey in North Vancouver, which he pursued into adulthood, including playing professional hockey in Scotland and coaching minor hockey and softball. He enjoyed a long career as a sales rep for Fairview Fittings and Green Line Hose and Fittings. Frank's retirement was spent at his beloved home on Hotel Lake where he enjoyed puttering around his yard and spending time on the dock with his family. Frank will be greatly missed and will remain forever in our hearts.
