Michele died May 5, 2014 as a result of complications after abdominal surgery. Although she had lived in Kentucky for many years her funeral service was in Cambridge, Ontario. Her obituary read: Michele Alexandra Kaye Macdonald of Walton, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2014, at Chirst Hospital in Cincinnati at the age of 67. She was a retired Language Teacher for Glenview Park Secondary School in Cambridge, Ontario. Michele enjoyed clogging, dancing, playing bridge, and entertaining friends. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Norm Macdonald, Sisters Janice Kaye, Marcia (Alan Martin) Kaye, and Jacqui (Paul, in memory) Tucker, mother-in-law, Edith Macdonald, sister-in-law, Dianne (Dave) Burlinton, brothers-in-law, Bill (Jo Anne) Macdonald and John (Rose) Macdonald, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St. N., Cambridge. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, Friday, May 16, 2014 at 1 p.m. with visitation beginning at 12 p.m. Interment will take place at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
