Think about the highlights of your life since you left the hallowed halls of Northfield/Mount Hermon…tell us about yourself. Please write as much as you wish:
My sister Alison is in the last stages of terminal leukemia so my time and energies are currently all focused to her and her kids.
My own life includes having qualified as a barrister and spent most of my career in the international upstream oil and gas business as counsel. Initially with Mobil Oil in their North Sea subsidiary in London with a year in NY.... then I went to one of Thatcher's privatizations, Enterprise Oil, as General Counsel. I took early retirement in 2001 just after I married Noel and since then have done some arbitration and mediation work and sat on several boards as a
non-executive director, including charities and an opera company. I now sit on the board of an energy company with interests in Africa, which I am enjoying.
