I am very blessed at this point in my life! 40 years since high school--where did it go? I left MSU to marry the man of my dreams --Chris Phillips. We spent the next 26 years moving with the Army! We finally landed in Birmingham, AL where he retired as a Lt Colonel and now works here as a government contractor. We have been here for 20 years--the longest I have ever lived anywhere my whole life! We do love it here!
My parents are in Knoxville, TN and we see them often. I have a older sister Deena (she did not go to Northville) and she and her family live in Fort Wayne, IN. My brother Brian (Class of '81) and his family are in Daphne, AL.
Chris retired from the Army after 28 years. I loved every minute of military life. With the constant moving--starting with Mary Kay was ideal. I have been with them 27 years and have earned 15 cars with the company. I also started my own consulting firm, SimpleWorks." I train, speak and hands on training on organizational systems and habits that help you be more focused, organized, and productive at home and in the workplace. So carrying two full-time careers is alot, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
I truly am thankful everyday that I have reached this point in my life. College, married, children, and now grandchildren. Where does the time go? One thing I know for sure--everyday has been lived to its fullest. I have not one regret, only true contentment for the choices I have made!
